He sent me a picture in which the brand-new, almost radiating underside was unmissable — at 15-stair hubbas in Battersea Park, one usually looks up — and it stuck with me.
Offsetting his name on this, his own iteration, is his x-rayed handshake, his thumb broken in a poetically permanent thumbs-up — though one hopes it would be anyway. And on the topside, a foil-printed photomontage of Big Ben and upside-down Cradle Mountain, two peaks of Gabber’s home island of Tasmania.”
